Manfield Coatings Company Limited was founded in Hong Kong since 1986, which specializes in manufacturing industrial coatings. Our coatings are applicable to a wide range of products including toys, light fittings, mobile phones, TV, electrical appliances, kitchen wares, etc. The outstanding product quality meets the requirements of world-class safety standards and environmental regulations.
To cope with rapid economic development in mainland China, Manfield established a wholly owned subsidiary in 1991 - Shenzhen Pinefield Chemical Enterprises Company Limited to cater shorter production cycle, provide high quality customized paint and on-site technical service to industrial manufacturers.
In addition, responding to the rapid growth of markets like kitchen wares, mobile phones and TV cabinets, we set up a joint venture company CMW Holding Limited (originally named Weilburger Manfield Limited) with Weilburger GmbH Germany and Cashew Japan in 2000. Five years later, a wholly-owned subsidiary namely CMW Coatings Limited was also set up to provide advanced product technology and technical support to our customers. Making use of the production capacity, effective management system, well-trained technicians and professional service teams of our Shenzhen factory, products and services can also be provided to our customers promptly and reliably.

With continuous effort to attain such customer value for the past 20 years, our maintenance of consistently high quality standard has been recognized by our customers to enhance their rapid business development.

Company Development
The Early Stages
Company founder Mr SW Yuen holds a First Class Honours bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of Hong Kong and a master degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wales. Seeing the needs for high quality paint factory in Asia, Mr SW Yuen has founded Manfield using self-developed pad-print ink and baking enamel technologies targeting for the die-cast toys segment as market entry. Product portfolios gradually expanded to others industrial applications.
Manfield today still enjoys leading position in the paints and coatings market for die-cast toys in Hong Kong of which in turn is the leader of the world.
The Growth Stages
With the correct market segmentation, the Company has adopted the concept of “servicing industry” and to provide innovative “on-the-spot services” that were greatly welcome by the marketplace. Both our revenues and profits doubled almost annually during our growing stages with our product portfolios centered at our core competence of providing tailor-made industrial coatings products and solutions to the industries we participate.
The Mature Stages
Following the opening up of China and associated business drives, the Company has gradually shifted its entire production to Shenzhen. The Company has also been aware of the need of a quality system to foster business growth. After some extensive explorations that included participation of leadership training course in the USA, Mr SW Yuen has identified quality excellence as the critical path for the Company and its employees to grow in the future. Since the 90s, the Company has relentlessly committed in building quality management systems as per indicated our milestones.
The Flying Stages
The Company’s mature quality management systems and manufacturing excellence were eventually acknowledged by international paints and coatings manufacturers; and in 2000, JV company Weilburger Manfield Limited was founded with Weilburger Coatings GmbH of Germany and Cashew Company Limited of Japan to utilize their advance technologies with our local manufacturing and sales expertise. Our businesses; product portfolios; brand awareness; regional coverage; have all been elevated way beyond normal organic growth.
Proactive to meet market needs, the Company has further expanded our production; samplings; services and product developments activities from Shenzhen Pinefield to area including Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuxi, Ningbo and Tianjin, to serve thousands of customers nationwide.
